Shore Stewards Grants
The Maine Shore Stewards Program is a collaborative effort aimed at helping coastal communties manage coastal watersheds. The program offers Coastal Watersheds Grants to alleviate polluted runoff, a major source of coastal pollution in Maine. Habitat Restoration Grants
This grant program is the first year of a three-year partnership between the US Association of Delegates to the Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment (the Council) and the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service’s (NMFS) Fisheries Community-based Restoration Program. This grant program is being managed by the US Gulf of Maine Association on behalf of the Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment. The purpose of this Partnership is to further the Council’s goal of habitat restoration and to support a strategic approach to marine, coastal and riverine habitat restoration within Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. The Partnership is inviting eligible organizations to compete for funding made available through this grant. Northeast Consortium Grants
The Northeast Consortium encourages and funds cooperative research and monitoring projects in the Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank that have effective, equal partnerships among fishermen, scientists, educators, and marine resource managers.
